Job Summary
- Implement Physical Therapy Services with minimal supervision
- Develop treatment plans, supervise support staff, and conduct patient care
- Maintain positive relationships with facilities and clients
Essential Duties
- Patient Care: Deliver treatments with state specific protocols; keep records
- Documentation: Evaluate, Treat, complete paperwork, and maintain patient records
- Compliance: Abide by facility mgmt and state licensing education requirements
- CPR Certification: Maintain current certification
Additional Responsibilities
- Performance: Manage time effectively to meet productivity goals
- Adaptability: Stay updated on health care changes; manage staff replacements
- Projects: Participate in special projects as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities
- Interpersonal Skills: Teamwork, leadership, and excellent communication
- Organizational Skills: Strong planning and patient & staff coordination
- Technical Skills: Computer proficiency for clinical documentation and reporting
- Mobility: Lift 50 pounds, walk, bend, stand and reach frequently
- Senses: Sufficient vision and hearing for patient care and recordkeeping
- Dexterity: Push equipment and perform fine motor tasks
Education
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Education Program
- Licensing: State licensure/registration required
