Job Summary

• 80% Treatment 20% People Management
• Implement Physical Therapy Services with minimal supervision
• Develop treatment plans, supervise support staff, and conduct patient care
• Maintain positive relationships with facilities and clients

Essential Duties

• Patient Care: Deliver treatments with state specific protocols; keep records
• Documentation: Evaluate, Treat, complete paperwork, and maintain patient records
• Compliance: Abide by facility mgmt and state licensing education requirements
• CPR Certification: Maintain current certification

Additional Responsibilities

• Performance: Manage time effectively to meet productivity goals
• Adaptability: Stay updated on health care changes; manage staff replacements
• Projects: Participate in special projects as assigned

• Interpersonal Skills: Teamwork, leadership, and excellent communication
• Organizational Skills: Strong planning and patient & staff coordination
• Technical Skills: Computer proficiency for clinical documentation and reporting
• Mobility: Lift 50 pounds, walk, bend, stand and reach frequently

• Dexterity: Push equipment and perform fine motor tasks

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Education Program
• Licensing: State licensure/registration required
