Systems Manager (MEP)
As a Systems Manager (MEP), you’ll play a key role in the construction process from start to finish—using your technical expertise to ensure the successful delivery of complex MEP systems. You’ll oversee all aspects of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, low voltage, security, fire protection, controls, and other critical building systems that enable clients to operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:

Review contract documents for constructability, code compliance, and system functionality.

Lead MEP trade coordination meetings and oversee the 3D coordination and submittal approval process.

Manage material submittals, procurement tracking, and documentation in alignment with project requirements.

Develop, monitor, and maintain MEP schedules alongside the project field supervision team.

Supervise field installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

Review and advise on MEP requisitions, contract changes, and change order exposure.

Manage MEP-related closeout documentation and ensure timely completion.

Support staff training, development, and adherence to safety and inclusion standards.

Promote collaboration among trades to drive on-time, high-quality project delivery.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Protection/Life Safety Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; or 8+ years of relevant experience.

5–8+ years of experience managing MEP trades, preferably with a general contractor.

Strong background in MEP design review, submittal management, field inspections, and testing/commissioning.

Proven leadership skills with experience building and managing diverse, high-performing teams.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Demonstrated success managing large-scale construction projects and mitigating risk.
